OCTOBER AT YELLOWCRAIG BEACH

We went to the beach and made boats out of driftwood

We made paint out of what we could find and made a mandala

DAY TWO OCTOBER BREAK

We made dens and finished our staffs off using linseed oil.

Some of us made our own swings and others played in the woods

DAY ONE OCTOBER BREAK

We tried to make fire with strikers and managed quite well with cotton wool.

We also started whittling our staffs

      FAMILY GROUP AT YELLOWCRAIGS

We met for the first of six sessions with families at the self-organised Wednesday Family Group at  yellowcraigs. We looked for materials for making a picture and then we had fun at the different stations we had in the woods.

We had fun playing with mud and lots of water and liked pouring water from different pots to bowls.

We also liked the swing we manages to put up.

TASTER AT YELLOWCRAIGS

For our taster session to find out if this group would like to come back for a six week block we painted with bramble juice and clay, made a fire, whittled with carrots and wood, made boats out of driftwood using a hand drill and did some Happa Zoming.

Some of us liked playing in the woods and climbing trees.

Some of us liked to learn how to whittle and we listened to instructions really carefully.

We liked the hand drill and we liked using the charcoal from our fire to paint our boats.
